Miután a nagy képei Vasarelynek most külföldi kiállításokon vannak és májusra térnek vissza a Múzeum egy műveiről készült plakát tárlattal készült április 28-ig. Azt is és az egyéb képeket is érdemes megtekinteni.

Lovely museum. I particularly enjoyed the colours exhibition. Was unsure why one of the works was hung upside down. Arguably it makes little difference but not what the artist intended.

Be advise that main part of the exhibition is in Seoul at this moment (early 2024) .
Anyway, there are still things to be seen as 3 other exhibits are on site.
You can take pictures of the art exposed.
Staff is friendly and multilingual.
You first enter the gift shop. You will have to cross in internal courtyard to arrive at the info desk where you buy your ticket.

The museum is okay, but it is waste of time if you are coming for a couple days to visit Budapest.
You need an hour and a half by walk to reach the museum from the city center, the museum is small and not interactive.
I do not recommend it, taking into consideration better options in budapest.

On the website it is mentioned that you get a 50% discount for “student groups (up to the age of 26) arriving from schools located within the territory of the European Economic Area” but apparently you also need to have a European citizenship, studying in Europe is not enough

Chyba moje ulubione muzeum w Budapeszcie :) Bogata wystawa, świetny pomysł z otwartym warsztatem, w którym można zrobić własną pracę inspirowaną wystawą niezależnie od wieku ;) (materiały są na miejscu). Brakowało mi jedynie angielskich napisów do filmów i szkoda, że pracownicy nie byli zbyt mili, ale mimo to naprawdę warto!

Hirtelen ötlettől vezérelve tértünk be. Nagyon kedves volt minden munkatárs, és volt időszaki kiállítás is, de sajnos a múzeum nagy része átrendezés alatt volt. Így Vasarely munkáiból viszonylag keveset láttunk. Ugyan ezt mondták is az elején, de nem gondoltam, hogy ennyire kevés művet lehetett megnézni. Ettől függetlenül jó szívvel ajánlom mindenkinek.

Őt tekinthetjük az optikai festészet, vagy „op-art” legjelentősebb képviselőjének.
Pécsen született 1906. április 9.-én Csiszár Győző néven.
Párizsban halt meg 1997. március 15.-én.
Igen látványosak az alkotásai. Érdemes megnézni őket.

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat a múzeumban, nagy terek vannak és rengeteg kép van kint, könnyen el lehet itt tölteni több órát is, örültünk a lehetőségnek, hogy megtapasztalhattuk a csodás Vasarely műveket.

très beau musée

Très beau musée entièrement dédié à Vasarely. Il est un peu excentré mais si vous aimez cet artiste n'hésitez pas à prendre le métro et à vous y rendre.

Un musée consacré aux oeuvres de l'enfant du pays, Victor Vasarely. Situé dans la proche périphérie de Budapest, il propose une magnifique collection d'oeuvres d'art de l'artiste. Les salles sont grandes. Cela permet d'avoir du recul sur ces tableaux qui jouent avec la perception, les formes et les couleurs. On y trouve aussi des sculptures, des peintures et des dessins de l'artiste. Des créations d'artistes modernes complètent la visite.
