Quick summary: the doors are not easy to get open, they were blocked at night and day, the area isn’t save: I got robbed in front if the door and the owner is very very unfriendly.

The whole story:
I arrived late at night around 1am and informed the team about my late arrival. They said I need to come inside through a self check-in and I could call them if I had any problems.

First thing: they didn’t mentioned the self check-in before the booking and I chose it because I thought they have a reception and not self check-in

But OK i thought…. I hate self-check ins..but I will try

Then I arrived at the apartment, used the code but the door didn’t open. I tried to call the owner/team but they didn’t pick up. So I asked two guys on the street to help me. They couldn’t open it as well and in the meantime one of the guys stole my bag with my most valued belongings inside ….so I can say: this area isn’t save at night!!

I called the police, they noted all information and helped me with the door. First they couldn’t open it as well - the door was jammed/blocked. After they pushed it harder the door finally opened.

During my stay this was not the first time the door wasn’t working. It happened the next day with another door and again I needed help from a man to pushed it open. It was broken.

One of the worst things: the owner again didn’t pick up the phone and I had to wait like 1h to get called back eventhough he knew what has happened the night before! All in all he was very unfriendly, didn’t feel sorry about what has happened and even said it was my fault to get robbed. He didn’t admit that his did a mistake in not picking up the phone. He said I expected too much when I was trying to call him at night. So his offer in his mail to reach him anytime and his „24h“ phone service what you can read everywhere in the apartment is a lie!

The only friendly persons in this house have been the cleaning ladies who were very caring and nice. But the people from the reception have been the worst!

If you make a booking half year ago, you will be greeted by the hotel owner one night before your arrival with a big cancellation automated message. NO explanation, NO compensation, NO help. How dare you darling?!

Stayed here one night and was perfect location wise, for the price it is very well situated, clean and simple. I had a single room with shared bathroom and exceeded my needs

Viel zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem, eher schlechte Schlafcouches, nervige Bettdecken, super dünne Matratzen und ein Lattenrost war kaputt, sodass man in einem Loch lag. Kaum Ausstattung im Zimmer (kein Tisch, niedriger Spiegel, gammeliges Sofa). Es gibt derzeit eine Baustelle, wo schon ca. Ab 08:00 super laut gehämmert und gebohrt wird (waren in Zimmer 10 - bitte nehmt ein anderes Zimmer wenn es geht. Es klang so, als würde gleich die Decke einstürzen). Am Fenster ist überall schwarzer Schimmel. Im Gemeinschaftsbad auch. Da alle Türen super laut sind, kann man nicht gut schlafen. Es fehlen Hinweise für die anderen Gäste, die Türen leise zu bedienen. Die Badezimmertür war aber z.B. kaputt, daher ging das gar nicht leise. Das einzig “okaye” war der tägliche Reinigungsservice, und die Location ist gut - aber am Wochenende ist es mega laut wegen der Partymeile. Wenn einen das nicht stört, geht das aber irgendwie. Es gibt derzeit keine Gepäckaufbewahrung und auf die Klingel reagiert niemand, man muss beim einchecken anrufen (dann bekommt man einen Türcode, aber vorher gibt’s den nicht). Ich würde nicht nochmal hier übernachten und es wirkt online viel besser, als es ist.

Excelente localização. Atendimento atencioso e quartos limpos. Recomendo.

They cancelled my reservation (made via Booking.com) a few days before my trip for no reason. I just got an email from Booking.com saying “unfortunately, Boho Guesthouse can no longer accommodate you”. They didn’t even have the decency to contact me themselves. They didn’t even offer a refund! Now I’m stuck paying inflated prices for last-minute accommodations. Do not recommend!!

Staff were great and the facilities very good. I'd not go back simply because I don't like staying in a party area. Too noisey all night. But it was perfectly fine for the one night I needed it.

Prima kamer met gedeelde badkamer en toilet. Hotel is nog deels in renovatie. Host bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ligging vlak bij pinkstreet. Prijs kwaliteit top.

Read many reports of people getting robbed here and more reviews of costumers not being able to access the property and having bad experiences with the staff.

I would not be writing this review if they offered me a refund but they did not. This was 174 euros wasted. Lisbon is an amazing city if you visit you should book your stay somewhere else. Do not support a business that treats paying costumers this way. I have traveled in Europe many times and never experienced this before.

Go ANYWHERE else.

good value for money, great location, if you want to be in center of Lisbons lively scene. that means, that it‘s loud outside. but the windows do a good job at keeping the noise at an acceptable level. My room had no WC inside, but the shared bathrooms are clean and if you need to keep your budget under control, this place is for you.

they changed the code and we could not enter the accommodation, we stayed on the street, the girl at the reception, very disrespectful... if they go to the accommodation, there is surely the possibility that they sleep on the street

CUIDADO!! Nos dejaron en la calle avisando que llegaríamos a las nueve de la noche y no pudimos entrar, la chica de recepción era realmente irrespetuosa ya que hablamos con ella de lo sucedido se reía de lo sucedido.

Alright stay just by the pink street. Very good location! However, not worth the price point in our experience. We made our stay shorter and got a lot nicer stay just around the corner for similar price.

The bathroom could use a renovation, and walls are paper-thin indeed :).

Es un lugar estupendo desde el que patear Lisboa. El hostal tiene mucho encanto, en un edificio antiguo, habitaciones amplías y baños limpios. Desayuno en un comedor muy chulo donde hay de todo. A dos pasos, el centro de Lisboa. Y muy amables. Recomendado

The barthrom are separed.

The wall are wery thin, you can hear every thing in the other rooms...

In the bathroom there was some moss... but all the rest was clean.

Muito bel localizado para turismo. Entretanto, a noite o ruído da rua atrapalha um sono tranquilo.

Si vas en plan mochilero, te podría servir, pero si te gusta la comodidad, definitivamente no te lo recomiendo; no hay ascensor en caso que lleven maletas, la habitación super básica, es decir, una cama (casi al piso) y almohadas incómodas, no hay ni mesita de noche donde colocar tus cosas, el baño fué lo peor, a parte de ser compartido, el olor a moho y humedad, junto a las paredes mohosas y al hecho de no poder usarlo libremente, teniendo que esperar turno en la mañana, por lo que no podíamos salir hacer nuestro itinerario porque eso atrasaba. Con decirles que no pudimos ir a tiempo para todo el plan de lugares a conocer, por la espera del bendito baño para asearse. En fin espero ayudarlos, aunque la ubicación es buena, no vale la pena.

Guesthouse abbastanza economica nel centro della vita notturna di Lisbona. Camere pulite, bagno in camera ampio e discreto. Se non avete tante pretese è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la città. Attenzione, con la finestra aperta i rumori che arrivano dalla sono davvero fastidiosi.

Au cœur de Lisbonne. À proximité à pieds de toutes les activités et sorties. Quartier animé bouchon d’oreilles recommandés voir indispensables. Vous y serez choyé et en sécurité.

Tiene muy buena ubicación si buscas turismo y diversión en Lisboa. Baños compartidos y limpios, aseo en las habitaciones (un poco pequeñas) y buen trato del personal. Lo recomiendo si quieres estar cerca de una estación de metro y de una zona turística de la ciudad. Ojo: no hay elevador y te toca cargar tus maletas 4 pisos.

Camera pulita vicino alla metro e al centro. Consigliatissimo
