HOTEL LUMEN & THE LISBON LIGHT SHOW * * * *

The breakfast was typical for a nice European hotel, meaning they had a good variety of cold cuts, warm eggs, fried potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, and pastries. They had several juices, tea, and coffee. I rate it as average.
The Clorofila Restaurant that was attached was good. The wait staff was professional and friendly. The osso buco was amazing. However, it was so large it could have fed a family of 8. We ate as much as we could, but I felt guilty throwing the rest out. Hopefully, they gave it to some hungry dogs waiting in the back alley. The only negative was the dessert. It was a creme Brulee (average) with a scoop of mojito sorbet on a bed of coffee grounds. It tasted like three day old coffee grounds mixed with mint flavored crest toothpaste. It was quite possibly the worst dessert I have even tried to eat.
Overall, the hotel was very good, but the restaurant was average. Quite frankly, the restaurant Capim Limao across the street is much better!
