The room is on the smaller side, but perfect for our needs as we only needed it to rest. Generally clean, although dusty in some areas like under and behind the bed, which I saw because I was looking for something I dropped.
I slept like a rock through the night, but my partner is a light sleeper and says the sound of the traffic kept him up until he put earplugs in.
The hallway was weirdly colder than the lobby and the room, and the room was very warm. We tried to turn down the room thermostat, but it didn't seem to do anything. We did the open the window the second night to help a bit. We could have asked the front desk about it, but didn't find it bothersome enough to do so.
Staff was friendly and professional. The elevator is fast, except for the rush check-in/out times.
There is valet parking available, but we ended up parking at a (cheaper) public space just 5 minutes away.
One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent restaurant on site, which served some of the best oysters we've ever had. The wine list was also impressive, with a great selection of privately imported wines. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive servers who knew their stuff.
The location was also perfect, just a short walk from Old Montreal and the city's best attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for exploring the city.
Overall, we were extremely impressed with Hotel Zero 1 Montreal and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, comfortable stay in the city.
