We appreciated the view from our room as we were able to watch the fireworks from it on Saturday night. I also liked the fact that there were the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower instead of in little bottles and I thought the sink was really different. In fact, I told my friends about these two bathroom related items. I found the elevator to be very slow. In regards to the breakfast, I have been at hotels which offer a complementary breakfast which have a much bigger selection of items available (for example, bacon, ham, sausages). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel was in an excellent location. It was very easy to get to things.

Staff was fabulous. Every staff member I spoke with was extremely polite and helpful. Room was very good. Lots of amenities and good layout. Staff had set up the sofa bed for us....was very appreciative! Room had a great view. Breakfast was excellent...enjoyed the variety and way the self service was set up to include soft boiled eggs and waffles. The croissants were amazing. LOVED the coffee machine in the lobby. Thought the wine vendor machine was very cool. The only thing I was looking for was some soap to clean the dishes and maybe a dish rack. I will stay here again and recommend to others. I have already provided a positive review on Google Maps.

We were really pleased with our stay. The location was great, as was the assistance from staff. We enjoyed the funky decor downstairs and comfortable room upstairs. Didn’t even mind our brick wall view!
The breakfast was very unique, with many interesting, fresh foods. Really liked the boiled egg maker! Had never seen one! Loved the personal touches like powdered and chocolate sugars for the waffles too. Thanks so much!

We loved our stay and will highly recommend your hotel. I was so pleased that it met all of our needs and was very clean and comfortable. Sarah in the breakfast room was particularly pleasant and helpful. I want to acknowledge her great service and cheerful attitude every day of our stay at the hotel. She should be commended!

J ai trouver que dans la chambre ça sentais beaucoup l humidité c était très désagréable comme senteur. Dans le porte savon dans la salle de bain c était un peu de savon mélanger avec beaucoup d eau cela ne lavait même pas les mains fallait prendre du shampooing dans la douche. Le tapis paraissait très sale et avec des graines en dessous des pieds. Mais côté accueil les gens qui y travaillent sont très accueillant, de bonne humeur avec le sourire et très aidant quand tu ne sais pas par où te diriger dans la ville. Merci beaucoup.

Chambre humide, fenêtre adjacent à un mur de briques. Nous avions réservé au téléphone, on aurait pu nous prévenir à ce moment.

Nous avons mentionné le tout au personnel, personne n'a fait de suivi par la suite.

Pour 200$ la chambre, nous nous attendions à mieux.

Overall, we enjoyed the hotel very much. We will definitely recommend Le Hotel Champlain to family and friends. The loft was comfortable and easy for our three-generation family of five ! Our only suggestion would be that more racks or hooks to hang five wet bath towels would be helpful. The young boys also thought we should let you know that there are two loose tiles in the bathroom floor....actually they also had ideas of how to fix them !

Breakfast area was very poorly laid out. The food was all clustered together in a tight area, which made it difficult to access when crowded. The main dining area did not have enough aisle space, so certain seats were constantly in the way of people walking by.
