Awesome place. Less touristy and more locals. The service was great and food was exceptional. We had to have the Florentine steak ????. Boy was it fantastic. Good wine and sides. Can't go wrong. Was a bit loud but I'm Italian and used to it from my family. Everyone was having a great time.

C'è poco da dire su questa osteria. È buono tutto. Il locale dell'aspetto rustico, tipico da osteria, è molto accogliente e pulito. Il servizio piuttosto veloce. Menù vario con prezzi nella media ma ogni cosa merita la spesa.

Restaurant moyen.
Les plats sont bons mais sans plus.
Aucune surprise, pas plus de plaisir que ça.
Selon moi un restaurant qui sert autant de couverts avec autant de plats à la carte ne pourra pas être exceptionnel.
La qualité de la cuisine, du service et de l'ambiance s'en ressent.

Tout est fait pour la consommation de côte de bœuf. Mais 50€ le kilo tout de même. Il faut avoir le portefeuille motivé.

Diner 75€: 1 antispasto pour 2, 2 primi, 2 secondi, une bouteille d'eau gazeuse

Ambiente molto casereccio e tradizionale, personale gentilissimo (soprattutto la
cameriera bionda, molto disponibile e sorridente) sia con me che con la mia ragazza.
Fiorentina buonissima (per chi ama la carne è una goduria), antipasto buono ma speravo che ci fosse anche il formaggio nell'antipasto (affettato buonissimo, pomodori e funghi saporiti), dolci discreti (la torta al cioccolato è migliorabile sinceramente, i cantucci invece erano ottimi).
Sarebbe da 4.5 stelle a causa dei dolci migliorabili ma la fiorentina fantastica e il servizio eccellente mi fanno mettere la quinta stella

Dopo aver letto ottime recensioni abbiamo scelto di recarci in questo locale.
Il peggior cibo mai mangiato.
Locale rumoroso se pur caratteristico.
Cibo orribile. Abbiamo preso:
1) pici al ragu di cinta: orribili, pasta scotta, senza sale, viscida in bocca, con sugo insipido
2) pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale: ancora peggio, pasta cotta in acqua senza sale e scotta con un ragu di cinghiale acquoso che non sapeva di nulla
Prezzi alti per mangiare come in ospedale
Trappola per turisti. Da evitare

Il servizio è approssimativo forse perché i numeri dei tavoli sono molto alti. La fiorentina molto buona ma i carciofi fritti erano intrisi d'olio.

The restaurant was recommended by a local. It did not disappoint when it came to the steak. It was cooked to perfection. I think all should know though that Florentine steak comes rare. If you don’t like rare they can cook it longer. You’ll get some looks ????. Our waiter was good but a little forgetful possibly due to being as busy as they were. We made reservations which I would recommend especially if you’re planning on eating after 7, around 8 it starts to get slammed. Over all we had an excellent experience here.

Prenotato alle 21 arriviamo e ci dicono che la prenotazione era alle 20 (alle 20 eravamo al telefono per prenotare?)
Antipasto crostini toscani ma è arrivato l’ antipasto toscano, poco male comunque affettati molto buoni e IL crostino che c’era era veramente buono. Pici con cinta senese buoni. Pappardelle al cinghiale scotte ma sapore buono, non eccezionali. Patate di contorno ordinate ma mai arrivate (ma, fatto presente in cassa, le hanno tolte dal conto). Conto un pelo alto per l’esperienza che abbiamo avuto.

Molto turistico ma da fiorentina posso dire che non abbiamo mangiato male. Bistecca tenera e saporita anche i contorni non male. Prezzi alti per location basica (panche dure, tovaglietta di carta) e servizio non proprio preparatissimo sulla carne...

An upscale and rustic restaurant on the south-west end of Florence, it was a delightful experience to eat here. The service here was some of the best I had whilst in the city, and the food was equally exceptional, the Tiramisu here was so good I ordered it twice! This is a great choice for either lunch or dinner.

It's a shame to waste a night in Florence eating so badly and with such unfriendly and slow service. We arrived at 9:00 pm and at 11 we had not eaten. I asked the waiter for a wine recommendation and he told me that he didn't drink. The waiter had no idea about the food they offered or what was happening.
Don't waste your time, unfriendly people and very bad food.

DON’T COME TO THIS PLACE, the service was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. I think the server didn’t even know what was going on. 2 hours to bring the food. No joke, I counted. They didn’t even get the order right. Honestly the food we order was whatever, I can only say the meat was good. Honestly I was just mad the whole time. Honestly Im not picky with restaurants, this is the first review I make, but this was just too much to ignore.

Abbiamo visitato questo ristorante per le buone recensioni lette ma, una volta sul posto, abbiamo realizzato che il rapporto qualità prezzo non era quello che ci aspettavamo. Il locale è a circa 1 km e mezzo a piedi da P.zza della Signoria. Per nostra scelta abbiamo pranzato fuori ma, per chi siede sulle panche, la sistemazione è scomoda. Il cibo è buono, la carne ottima ma niente di eccezionalmente diverso rispetto alla media degli altri locali a Firenze. In tutta onestà il servizio non ci e’ piaciuto. Il cameriere dimenticava spesso ciò che gli si chiedeva e quando abbiamo chiesto un parere sul vino da consigliare, non ha mostrato competenza. Ha speso, tra l’altro non richiesta, qualche parola di troppo sul prezzo delle bottiglie e non sulle caratteristiche e gli abbinamenti con il cibo ordinato. Non si può consigliare “a seconda di quando si vuole spendere”. Non si fa così. Si può fare di più …. E meglio!

We had a fantastic dinner at Antico Ristoro di Cambia on our trip to Florence. There was plenty of room for our party of 7 individuals. We started with the tomato and buffalo mozzarella, artichoke salad, and cambi mix. Each was phenomenal. The waitress was able to accurately suggest the proper kilo amount of Florentine steak that allowed us to share with all of our group members. Even our non-regular red meat eaters enjoyed the steak it was so magnificent. For sides we had the roasted potatoes and the baked onion with Parmesan sauce. The potatoes were delicious but the onions were on a tier of side-dishes that we had never experienced before. Sweet, salty, and savory they were a perfect complement to the steak. Antico Ristoro di Cambia will have to be a regular stop whenever we are in Florence again.

One of the BEST spots to get Florentine steak!! Was recommended to me by a local many years ago and never disappoints. Top quality cuts, perfect texture, no smell. I always like to have their papa al pomodoro or ribolita soup as appetizer.
Tables are tight and often times you are seated on a stool but you forget all of that once the food comes out. Don’t miss out on this place!
