Best part of our Italy trip was staying here - the property is absolutely stunning and so serene. The only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer and we didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant. But the breakfast was delicious!

The staff are so kind and very welcoming. I made the biggest mistake by leaving my passport in the room but they immediately emailed me after we checked out and helped ship it out to my next hotel. True lifesavers!!!

This place is the epitome of Tuscan paradise!!! Myself and my partner have just returned from our wedding weekend at Villa Cicolina, which accommodated all of our friends and family and I honestly can't put into words how incredible everything was. From the exceptional views, enchanting rooms, charming decor, quaint pockets of immaculately maintained gardens, heavenly food and delicious wine, to the phenomenally hard working staff, who went above and beyond for an entire year to make it everything we could have ever wanted and worked relentlessly throughout our wedding weekend to ensure our guests were all very looked after.

We have had the joy of staying here twice now, during autumn and the peak summer season and on both occasions the villa is truly the serenest setting and a idyllic form of escapism. It has the perfect combination of rustic Tuscan grandeur (without being pretentious), but with touches of modernism outside of the main villa. The reviews generally speak for themselves, but we were surprised at the odd few comments regarding the location being far away from town and it being 'dated'. This is baffling to us! As soon as we started our research, we knew instantly the authentic style of property we were looking at and it is clearly noted on google maps to be approx. a 25/30 min walk from Montepulciano town centre! Also, one not to be missed.

We already cannot wait to return again and look forward to seeing the wonderful and friendly faces that made our trip so so special. If you are thinking of celebrating your wedding/a special occasion here, or even just to have a relaxing break, don't hesitate... it will be the trip of a lifetime!

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Villa Cicolina and we couldn't have asked for a more elegant, beautiful, and serene venue. All the rooms were loved by our guests (we used all of them!) and were all very generously sized. I have seen some reviews mentioning that the rooms are dated - this is not the case. Every aspect of this hotel is well maintained and the rooms are full of rustic Italian charm. The bathrooms have also been criticized before but none of our guests had any issues and were purely complimentary of their accommodation.
Villa Cicolina has a great location with its hill top perch offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. This view is perfectly utilized by the infinity pool which is one of the best I've ever swam in! Considering this hotel offers uninterrupted views and peaceful surroundings, it is surprising how close Montepulciano is. Obviously, being in hilly rural Tuscany, it isn't a walk for elderly or those with limited mobility (about 25-30mins uphill on a fairly busy road) but the staff at reception have plenty of contacts for Taxis to drive the 5 minutes into town. We made the walk a few times ourselves without any bother. That being said, if you are wanting a rural setting close to a popular hill top town you can't do better than this location.
The restaurant has an incredible menu and the villa's own wine is phenomenal. It truly gives the perfect Tuscan experience.
The staff are amazing and are always willing to help. We had a huge amount of communication with them whilst planning our wedding and they exceeded our expectations in every department. Food and drink is served promptly and to superb standards, the gardens are kept pristine, and the reception and housekeeping staff make your stay extremely comfortable.
This hotel will forever have a place in our hearts for obvious reasons. But even if you are planning to visit for a short stay and not to get married, I promise you will feel true escapism, relaxation, and will always remember this as one of the most beautiful places you've ever stayed.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Villa Cicolina. The historical charm of the house was truly enchanting. One aspect we'd like to highlight is that, due to a planning oversight on our part, we hadn't realized the necessity of having a car in the area, given the limited availability of taxis and the small local population. This became evident when we ventured out for dinner in the center of Montepulciano and, returning late at around 11pm, discovered that there were no operating taxis. In a moment of desperation, we reached out to the hotel, and to our amazement, the owner Andrea went above and beyond by personally coming to pick us up. This truly exemplifies his dedication to guest satisfaction and his generous nature. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to him. Furthermore, the restaurant on the premises was exceptional, and the server's warmth and kindness added to the experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Die Volla Cicolina ist eine echte Oase vor den Toren von Montepulciano. Ein wunderschön hergerichtetes Haus ganz im toskanischem Stil. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Restaurant mit ihren zuvorkommenden und super sympatischen Mitarbeiter ein Traum und die Zimmer befinden sich auf dem höchsten Standard. Wir können ein grosses Lob aussprechen und haben unseren Aufenthalt mehr als genossen. 10/10!

The most magical and romantic Eden in Tuscany, this place is special. Having breakfast and dinner in their garden that grew fruits, set in front of their own olive grove was straight from a fairytale.

Absolutely wonderful stay!! The views of Villa Cicolina are unmatched! Absolutely gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and the room was amazing! The restaurant served some of the best food ever! Overall, one of the most stunning places to stay at! ❤️

Un posto magico, tranquillo e romantico dove stare nella zona collinare della Toscana. Nelle vicinanze di Montepulciano e un buon punto di partenza per esplorare la città e i luoghi vicini. Anche il mio bulldog francese è stato ben accolto. Grazie per tutto.

Meravigliosa Villa restaurata a pochi minuti dal centro di Montepulciano, immersa nella natura e nel silenzio. La piscina a sfioro e la sala colazione/cena sono delle chicche.
