Localização excelente. Espaço envolvente espectacular com saída direta para a praia. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Simpatia dos empregados acima do normal.
Os quartos é algo a melhorar bastante (mobiliário bastante antigo, colchão muito
mole assim como as almofadas).

We had a week's break at the Vasco da Gama Hotel in Montegordo on the Algarve which was fantastic. The 3 star hotel ???? was really good. We had a large twin bedded room on the first floor easily accessible by the stairs. The room had a small fridge and nice power shower in the tiled bathroom with toilet and bidet. The twin beds were large and comfortable. We were on a half board basis with breakfast and evening meal. The buffet breakfast was excellent with hot and cold food and plenty of fruit, cheese and yoghurt as well as the usual bacon and egg. We took advantage of the Happy Hour between 5 and 6 pm in the hotel bar when drinks were half price with for example a cocktail and large gin and tonic for €7. The evening buffet was excellent, usually with 3 different sorts of fish and two meat choices freshly cooked. There were no children at the hotel when we visited in early March and the demographic was quite elderly. The pool area was excellent with large outdoor pool and plentiful sun beds which were easy to move. There's a pool bar and gym next to the pool area. We would certainly go back but the hotel isn't really for young families and teenagers like the town of Montegordo. The 10 mile sandy beach was great to walk on as was the wooden board walk with lots of restaurants looking out to sea. An excellent hotel and beach and the food in the town of Montegordo for lunch was cheap with lots of bars cafes and restaurants to eat at being competitively priced.

I was in hotel Vasco da Gama in October 2024. Excellent hotel very friendly staff. Clean rooms. I had a package with a breakfast and the food is very good with a wide variety of different types of food. Special thanks to the reception staff. The location of the hotel is perfect.

Hotel con solera en primera linea de playa de Monte gordo. Habitaciones limpias, muy amplias, con camas grandes y confortables. Muy bueno el bufé de cena y desayuno. Destaco el personal de sala, muy atento y agradable.

Classic style hotel with amazing service. Their buffet breakfast is amazing! They also had live music on the bar on the Friday evening which was very nice. And I could not thank the staff enough as I left a charger behind and they were kind enough to ship it back to me. The hotel has a private access to the beach so in less than 5 minutes you can be in the beach which is huge!

Nice hotel catering for the mire mature person. Rooms slightly dated but ok for 3 star hotel.
Would stay again.
Bar is expensive outside of happy hour. 4 euros for a 400ml beer. Equates to 5.5 euros a pint.
Bars outside charge 3 euros.
Food 7.5 out of 10. Perfectly OK.
Lots of fish.
Definitely would stay again.

Hotel is okay. My room had a noisy, seriously noisy heat pump AC that whined on and off all night. Told front desk but might have been a language barrier, but they didn't respond .. Dinner isn't worth 35 euros. Breakfast was decent. Nice view in upgraded room is worth it.

O Hotel necessita de uma intervenção interiores (quartos) no dia 26/12 a 29/12 pediram 35 euros + bebida por pessoa para jantar no hotel. A habitação estava virada para a rua, quando têm quartos virados para o mar ( hotel com pouca afluência nesta data).

Wir waren im Okt/Nov für eine Woche dort und hatten ein Doppelzimmer Superior mit Meerblick und Balkon. Sicher ist das Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen und auch eine Badsanierung wäre gut, aber alles war gut zu nutzen und wurde gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut sortiert und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. In den Vorjahren haben wir das benachbarte Dunamar genutzt, aber die Preise dort haben uns diesmal davon abgehalten. Dort ist es zwar wesentlich moderner eingerichtet, aber im Vasco d.G. wird mehr portugiesische Freundlichkeit und eben auch Lebensart geboten. Sicher ist das Publikum zu der Jahreszeit älter, aber auch ruhiger und einfach angenehm.

Das älteste Hotel in der Algarve. Es wurde 1958 gebaut. Uns hat das Hotel sehr gefallen.Das Frühstück ist spitze. Die Einrichtung ist Vintage. Besser als die Ikea Möbel in anderen Hotels.

O Hotel Vasco da Gama é um verdadeiro clássico, localizado em Monte Gordo, que não desilude, graças à sua localização em cima da praia e com um estilo intemporal que lhe permite subsistir sem grandes alterações ao longo do tempo.
Piscina exterior muito bonita, excelente qualidade da água e muito boa temperatura.
Serviço de Restaurante e de Bar muito agradável e acolhedor, com boas opções ao dispor.
Boa relação preço/qualidade/serviço.
Bom atendimento, sempre com grande Simpatia por parte de todo o Staff.

Recomendo vivamente????
