THE IXIAN GRAND

This place is amazing! The staff were very inviting and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and we're cleaned every day . Only thing that is a minor negative there isn't much to do in walking distance from the hotel but taxi and buses are always available and cheap enough to have a day trip to the main city.

The hotel has everything you need: three restaurants in addition to the main restaurant (one of them is for suite guests only), a shop onsite, pools galore (indoor and outdoor), the sea - albeit a pebbly beach but with easy access to the water via the pontoon.

We booked the premium spa room with a garden view but didn’t realise that meant we wouldn’t have a shower ???? while there is a shower head and hose, there is no attachment on the wall, which means you have to hold the shower head to shower.

This is something that could be easily remedied and would have made our stay even more pleasant!

UPDATE (18/04/24): We mentioned the “missing” shower to the reception and they explained that not all premium double rooms with spa bath and garden view have a walk in shower. Which is totally fine, but it would be good to have it as an option when booking. The staff were extremely helpful and apologetic and offered to give us a room with a shower the next day. We ended up declining the offer, as we didn’t fancy repacking everything and were happy with everything else in the room - apart from the bed (a different story)????

In fact, if there was a bracket on the wall for the shower, we probably wouldn’t have said anything.

We have been here for 3 nights and haven’t had a good night sleep yet. The bed feels like it’s slanted and we noticed it doesn’t have a proper mattress, but rather two foam toppers (see image) ! ????

It is a little disappointing considering the quality of the hotel. Hoping for a good night sleep tonight ????????

This hotel is amazing we have had the best holiday in a long time the food what can I say the porridge is to die for .Eleftheria is a credit to the hotel she made us so welcome knew our drink before we sat down .Manolis on the bar is a pure legend and made our nights great . Lily and Ada for looking after our room and us thankyou if you want a a amazing holiday this is the place. We will be back x

Can't rate this hotel highly enough, Staff are exceptional, rooms are clean and tidy and the food is great.

The best all inclusive hotel I've ever stayed in. Super friendly staff. Modern spacious rooms. Good selection of meals. Every day a different cuisine. It has 2 beautiful pools. An outside bar and a jetty to swim in the sea. Highly recommend!
