LES VIOLETTES HÔTEL SPA ^{* * * *}

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) and stayed at Hotel & Spa Les Violettes for 2 nights during our visit to Europa-Park. After the crazy excitement at Europa-Park, it was a treat to sleep in tranquil surroundings.
What most stands out to us was the extra effort that the friendly restaurant staff took to cater for our vegetarian diets. The food was very delicious. Thank you so much. The breakfast buffet selection includes different pastries and breads with butter, jams etc, sausages, eggs (scrambled and boiled), crepes, American pancakes (incl. maple syrup to drizzle), fruits, cold meats, yogurts, fresh orange juice, coffee/tea/hot chocolate. This is not an exhaustive list but you get the gist of what's on offer.
We were given directions to our room which we found relatively easily. The way was marked pretty clearly. We were not offered help with our luggage but we are 4 healthy and strong individuals so there was no need for help. The reception was covered with only 1 staff member (it was later in the evening, around 19:00) and she had to take care of another couple who arrived shortly after we did, so it was not a problem at all for us.
The room we stayed in was clean, quiet and comfortable and among the complimentary items were even a toothbrush set and shaving set. These are not common features in most 4-star hotels and were a pleasant surprise. The room included an ironing board and iron which I also haven't seen that often in other 4-star hotels. The hair/body wash and conditioner have a lovely fragrance and are really good products and we even purchased some shampoo to take home with us. The view from our room was breathtaking with the hills in front of us and the hotel garden and spa below. The balcony was large too.
The spa is simply wonderful. We did not take any advantage of the beauty treatments on offer but we did enjoy the pool, sauna etc which left us feeling revitalised.
Look out for the gorgeous mirror with a frame made of tree branches on your way to the restaurant and the beautiful blue ceiling lamp at the top of the stairs when going to the restaurant. The statues outside are really special too. There was also a hand cart outside filled with meadow flowers growing very happily.

La réputation de l'établissement n'est plus à la hauteur... les prestations ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Est-ce réellement un 4 étoiles ?
Le personnel n'est pas très accueillant et souriant. En consultant les avis (après coup), nous ne sommes pas les premiers à relever ces points négatifs. Dommage que cela ces derniers ne soient pas pris en considération.
Restaurant bon mais sans plus également.
Clairement pour le prix vous trouverez bien mieux ailleurs.

Journée spa gourmand en amoureux, tout était parfait, dès notre arrivée, tout à été bien expliqué, personnel souriant et à l'écoute, déjeuner super de 3 plats, piscine, jacuzzi, sauna, grotte à sel... bref une journée que l'on oubliera pas !!! Merci

Accueil avec le sourire, explications claires sur le fonctionnement de l'hôtel.
Spa magnifique, température de l'eau de la piscine au top pas froide ! Il y a suffisamment de transats et assez de pièces sauna etc pour disperser les résidants. La chambre romantique classique est spacieuse propre, grande salle de bain et toilettes séparée. A 18h nous décidons d'aller au bar pour boire un cocktail et petite surprise on nous propose des tapas pour accompagner notre boisson sans supplément. Restaurant : cuisine raffinée, bon produits, excellent repas, formule boissons comprises pratique et nombreux choix de vins . Petit déjeuner : diversifié et produits de qualité .
En résumé super séjour et quand je vois que certains commentaires disent que la prestation n'est pas digne d'un hotel 4étoiles, je pense qu'ils se trompent !

J'y suis et aimerai y rester. Un univers à part, un complexe de rêve. La chambre était magnifique, ordonnée, pratique et propre. Le personnel toujours à votre écoute. Les serveurs sympathiques et souriants, aux petits soins pour nous. La cuisine, et pour dire que nous sommes difficiles, mon conjoint est un ancien cuisinier. Tout était sublime. Chaque plat était à part, rempli de mille saveurs, joliment présenté, nous nous sommes régalé. A refaire en urgence !
