Fantastic place. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Good coffee with a cookie on top of it. Must-visit, especially when it's raining and in Gand it's not uncommon

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very spacious. Nice to have a small balcony to sit on. Food was very good and even a choice of vegetarian, and alternative milk.

Serveren goed ontbijt. Niet al te ingewikkeld, maar wel erg lekker. Verse jus d’orange en heerlijke koffie. Prima alternatief voor een duur ontbijtbuffet in een hotel.

AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE!!

My wife and I stopped by as we were both looking for a spot to have some breakfast, and this place looked cozy. We ordered two cappuccinos and two rolls with one small slice of bacon and one fried egg. The length of time waiting for the food was exaggerated and also considering the size. My wife found a hair floating in her coffee and immediately informed the owner. The waiter admitted it was his hair, and only replaced the coffee, but charged my wife for the coffee!!!! We had also ordered another two rolls, but we had no discount!!! Very disappointed.

Een hele fijne, gastvrije en gezellige plek om in Gent te verblijven. De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en sympathiek en de sfeer is heel huiselijk. Er komen veel Gentenaren over de vloer voor een kopje koffie, lunch, diner (het eten is trouwens verrukkelijk!) of borrel, dat maakt het extra leuk. En het ligt ook nog eens op loopafstand van het centrum. Een echte aanrader! Ik hoop nog eens te mogen logeren.

Het mooie is dat je met je bezoek het herbebossingsproject in Congo steunt.

I'll be honest: it's cute, small and accommodating. I loved the location, so close to the city center and everything you need at a walking distance. We got the top floor and it was a bit of a pain to travel with luggage up and down because the stairs are narrow as heck. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the room itself: apart from some minor things, the shower felt scalding at times and there was always a puddle of water collecting in the shower stall due to poor drainage. But it was still a good place to stay with good (small) breakfast.
