Hôtel 4 étoiles doté d'appartements à kitchenette, chambres et suites dont certaines avec terrasse, l'une avec vue sur Paris.
Ici vécut Edmond Rostand, le père de Cyrano de Bergerac. Son hôtel particulier a connu plusieurs vies. La dernière est la transformation en un hôtel 4 étoiles doté d'appartements avec kitchenette pour des longs séjours. Six étages pour seulement 25 chambres et suites dont certaines avec terrasse. La suite Roxane a une superbe vue sur Paris avec en ligne mire le Sacré Cœur et c'est la plus chère. La décoration a été voulue très minimaliste dans les tons de gris souris ponctués ici et là de petits touches colorées. Des petits espaces verts jaillissent entre les terrasses, des chambres en duplex et les balcons donnant sur une petite cour privée. Enfin la restauration est assurée par le restaurant 1868 que ce soit au petit déjeuner, déjeuner ou dîner.

We loved this place. The location is great and safe. The staff is very nice and responsive. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. We would defintely come back.

Very disappointing for a supposed ‘four star’ hotel. This is a property that has been allowed to decline from neglect. The room was huge, spacious for Paris. But it wasn’t very clean.The floors had visible stains, the tile was dark from mildew, and worst of all there was a faint sewer smell (we think from the kitchen sink) that would not go away even though we tried to leave the windows open and fan on. The tiny lobby was not useful for anything, it would be embarrassing to meet friends there. The common areas, carpets, walls are also looking scuffed, old and run down. I would not recommend. The staff were courteous but not particularly helpful friendly.

We like the location, the rooms, the service and the staff except for one who did not treat us with respect. It was a pity since we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our unhappiness with this staff occurred in two separate events.
First, on the night before our arrival, we called the hotel to follow up with our inquiry regarding upgrading one of the two rooms we booked. Although at the end this staff confirmed that we could upgrade. However, the process would have been quicker had this staff listen to us instead of talking over our voice most of the time, causing several repeats throughout the conversation.
Second, on the night before we left for the airport, this staff made a booking for a taxi for us, which went smoothly. The next day, we waited and waited but the taxi did not arrive after nearly 20 minutes. We frantically called another taxi fearing we may miss our international flights home. Sadly, as we were leaving the hotel, this staff got upset and made a fuss because we didn't wait for the taxi he booked. However, even when we left, "his" taxi still hadn't come.
Initially, we didn't mind the first incident as the hotel and every other staff were nice during our stay. However, the second incident really left us in sour mood because of this quick-tempered staff.
This is why we gave 4 stars for the service.
We still love to come back to Sonder next time we're in Paris but prefer not to be served by this staff.
