I went here last year, and loved the service and the food.
So TODAY I brought my friend with me, because I wanted to show this place.
To clarify, we're asians.
And when we went in, the reception was a nice lady so I was happy.
Once sat down, an intense white blue eye lady came as a server.
I'm from America so it's not like I wasn't clear on speaking, but she kept speaking in French(which is ok I studied the basic 4year at Uni.)
And she gave us a French menu(this is important)
We ordered food, I ordered a steak etc.
She asked me in French something, I assume it was how I wanted it to be cooked.
So I said, medium rare. But I guess she didn't want to hear "medium rare" instead she kept saying "red".
So I just said "yes please"
And after we started eating, right next to us came an elderly ENGLISH couple.
Immediately she asked them if they want the ENGLISH MENU.
I felt ??? they have one??
But just let it go. And hearing because they're right next to us, she keeps speaking ENGLISH to them.
I'm just surprised the audacity of this lady that was older than us just cannot do their JOB properly.
We're not asking for them to praise us like god or anything.
Just want to ask
Is it fun? Was it fun for you to treat people like that?
I hope some day you find yourself treated so kindly in Japan that you look at yourself ASHAMED.
BTW I went around 12:30-13:30 January 27.
If I'm EVER going back, will DEFINITELY bring a FRENCH SPEAKING FRIEND.
Good food to share with friends.
