We were lucky to find a spot without reservation, as in their website they recommend customers to book 4 hours in advance. The place is traditionally French, with French pictures and the classical bistrot look in the setting and walls.
The star of the show for us was the onion soup. We underestimated its filling power (we were basically full after that and the snails). It was rich and cheesy, but with a very good balance. I felt the cherry on top would have been some aromatic herbs or a hint of extra pepper, but it was truly amazing. My partner had then some meat with aligot (a sort of potato puree with cheese which seems to be a staple in the french kitchen) and it was amazing, not too cheesy. I had lamb which was nice too.
The wine we picked was also very good. No space for dessert but we felt we discovered a little gem. Service was also attentive and caring. Definitely recommended.
They tasted so gross even can’t finish more than two slice probably the worst I’ve had in France so far.And the waiter was rude FACT.Such a waste of this beautiful place. And thanks for being unfriendly again xx
The place looks so classic but unfortunately the waiter are not nice same as the other bad reviews.Even the quality of food is bad. There are many more nice traditional French restaurants in town.Don’t come this one if you don’t speak French.
