In June 2024 was hiking the Voie de Nive (Bayonne - St Jean PdP) and arrived in Macaye. love cheese and so much wanted to visit but at the time my pack was heavy and wanted to get to the hostel in Helette.
At my turn I stopped at the Bidegaray cafe and a woman made me a wonderful cheese sandwich full of big slices of Onetik cheese. The best €10 sandwich, it gave me fuel to reach my destination. In Helette I went to a small épicerie and bought a small wheel (1kg?) of cheese for €12 ..a total bargain! It added to the weight on my shoulders but was worth it. As I climbed to Spain on the Camino it was cold and windy at the top of the mountain so a 5-6 of us stopped into the storm shelter to warm up. I pulled out the cheese and my trusty Opinel and shared it with everyone reducing my cheese weight to half. Luckily for me I found the cheese again on my way back at the marche at St Jean de Luz. I used to love Comté, but now it's Onetik!

Super fromagerie étant de passage a Hasparren pour un déménagement nous nous sommes arrêtés chez vous et nous n'avons pas êtes déçu en + nous avons eu le droit a une dégustation et un échantillon gratuit. Continuez comme ça et a très bientôt. Merci a la vendeuse. Les déménageurs Bretons ????????????

We've been not there yet, but we're still q enjoying a piece of Tomme des Pyrenees we found by chance somewhere in Normandie. I'm in love with this cheese and had to find where was it made! Our love for the Pyrenees region, either Spanish or French comes around on each bite of this delicious creamy piece of heaven. It is takes me back to the lush green landscape with snowy tops we admire so much! Next time in our tribales to Spain, we'll try to visit the factory and the shop! ❤️

Dommage que les prises de la borne électrique du parking soit monopolisées par le personnel de l'entreprise.... un petit plus pour la clientèle qui disparaît... !

When we exited our car in the parking lot, we were immediately greeted by the fragrant scent of milk in the air. The boutique offers a small selection of cheeses, with several available for sampling.

Most of the cheeses are sold by the piece, while those sold by weight require a minimum purchase of 1/4 of the wheel (~1kg).

Service was friendly. There is also a water point and toilet available.

Note that they offer free visits to the farm in July and August at 10AM. You can email / call to reserve a spot.

Plus de vingt ans que je connais cette fromagerie et que j'y viens.
Jamais déçu, tant par la qualité, que par l'accueil en boutique.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe de production qui fait un travail remarquable, à Nathalie pour le point de vente, et aux charmantes brebis bien sûr ! ???????????? ????

Comme tous les ans, lors de notre séjour au Pays Basque nous nous rendons dans cette fromagerie. Tous les produits sont bons, se conservent très bien et le rapport qualité prix, raisonnable. Par contre ce que nous avons déploré cette année, c'est l'accueil de la vendeuse que nous avons dérangée, c'est vrai qu'il était 12h15..... Et pour couronner le tout, le total de notre achat était de 71,02 euros, on n'a même pas eu la remise de 2ctss. Dommage, l'an prochain, on ira ailleurs. On ne veut surtout pas déranger????

Très bonne fromagerie avec des bons produits.
Du chèvre au bleu en passant par la fameuse tome de montagne ainsi que le délicieux chebris.
Les prix sont raisonnables pour ces produits de qualités.
