The hospitality here was amazing! A special shout out to Didier and Audrey for their kind and hospitable service, so very appreciated!

J'y suis allé pour un repas, je ne juge donc que le restaurant.
Très bon en goût, qualité, présentation, rien à dire par contre... portions d'enfant d'un an. Entrée artichauts / seiche, ne pouvant manger de seiche je le signale. J'ai donc eu droit à trois pauvres bouts de cœur d'artichaut sans remplacement de la seiche. Il devait y a voir 30 grammes d'artichaut dans l'assiette. Plat cabillaud et accompagnement. Encore une fois rien à dire sur la qualité. Mais il devait y avoir 50 grammes, 80 maximum de poisson et environ 30 grammes d'accompagnement. Le cumul entrée plat dessert ne correspond pas à une quantité normale pour une entrée. Alors oui gastronomique, oui terrasse, oui présentation.... mais il y a des limites...

If your expectation is La Bastide Bourrelly will be the equivalent of a large 5 Star Hotel with staff attending to your every whim then I suggest you look elsewhere. It’s relatively small, and really an exceptional restaurant with a modest number of well-appointed, comfortable rooms attached. I’ve read reviews in which people pick out the tiniest details to criticise, but my sense is that expressed negativity is more reflective of a particular type of expectation than of the establishment itself. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Staff at both check in and check out were friendly, helpful and easy to engage with. The room was tasteful, clean and very comfortable. I thought the bedding was very high quality, and I also liked the L’Occitane lemon scented soap. The pool was fun. At breakfast there is a small buffet with an additional array of juices and cereals. The waiter offers hot beverages and eggs. The important thing is to take your time and choose well, because when you look you appreciate that everything there has been provided because it is exceptional. It’s all worth exploring (ok - maybe not the Coco Pops). The coffee is lovely and the omelettes expertly cooked. We also had lunch in the Restaurant where it truly came into its own. The star of the show is the food provided through exceptional service from a very young front of house team. It was a Saturday lunchtime, we had the four course tasting menu with wine pairing. The restaurant was busy and buzzy and everybody seemed to be enjoying it, especially us. In the 24 hours we spent at the place there simply wasn’t anything to have a problem with. Hang on... the plug in our sink wouldn't seal, but luckily I've recovered.

Excellent séjour à proximité immédiate d’Aix en Provence ! Tout était parfait : la gentillesse du personnel, la décoration des chambres, la literie, le service d’étage. Je recommande à 100% cet hôtel !

Très bel établissement, service impeccable. Bon moment trop court mais à refaire.
