Ubicación céntrica. Todo cerca caminando. Los anfitriones amorosos, nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos han permitido gestionar el check in antes de lo previsto. Desayuno espectacular. Lo único que podría decir como sugerencia es que modifiquen el baño de ducha, y que por la noche se escuchaban puertas que se abrían y cerraban constantemente y eso no nos permitió dormir muy bien.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber Christophe war sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren schon früh am morgen in Marseille und konnten bereits kurz nach 12 Uhr unser Zimmer beziehen, viel früher als normalerweise angedacht. Es wurde sehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet, das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Der Gastgeber Christophe ist auch bestens auf einzelne Wünsche eingegangen. Das Frühstück war etwas anders als man es normalerweise kennt, aber positiv anders. Jeden Morgen gab es zur Wunschuhrzeit ein Tablett mit reichlich zu Essen aufs Zimmer gebracht. Es gab Baguette, Croissants, Schokobrötchen, selbstgemachte Marmeladen und vieles mehr. Es war eine schöne Erfahrung sich auch mal das Laufen am Buffet zu sparen und die Ruhe beim frühstücken zu genießen. Sehr angenehm ruhig war es auch in der Nacht trotz der zentralen Lage der Unterkunft. Man braucht nicht lange bis zum nächsten großen Einkaufszentrum (ca. 12 Minuten) oder zum Hafen (ca. 15-20 Minuten).
Mein Mann und ich können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans l’une des chambres , l’hôte est vraiment gentil , le petit déjeuner est bien garnie et l’emplacement est idéal on accède à tout à pied. La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée on s’y sent bien.

Months ago, we booked a room via booking.com because we felt secure and safe of the really good reviews and comments.

However, the experience we had was the worst that could happen to a traveler and we feel the need to protect future customers.

The story goes like this..

Unfortunately, we did not notice that the specific accommodation accepts check-in until 24:00. We contacted the owner, who assured us that we would be able to do a late check-in at 1:30.

However, our flight with Volotea (N252YB) was delayed and as soon as we arrived at the airport we realized that our paid reservation had been canceled by the owner.

-Apparently we had no signal during the flight to reply to the owner's messages asking if we had arrived.-

We tried to communicate with him in all ways but he did not answer on phone calls or messages.

So suddenly we found ourselves alone in a foreign country, with nowhere to stay at 1:45, in a city without night life.
We spent the whole night on the street, two girls alone, as at this time there was no available room to stay.

In tourism and especially the people who work in it, it is important to provide you with safety. The rooms of this property may be clean and fancy but the owner, with the way he acts, cannot provide any customer with trust and security.
He exposed us, with great ease, in huge danger and psychological suffering.

Finally, Booking.com renounced all the responsibilities that such a big platform should have and the owner of the accommodation refused to refund money.

Even if, Booking.com stands by the owners who behave so dangerously, irresponsibly and unethically, we must stand by the travelers and protect them in any way we can.

P.S. All of the above can be very easily confirmed from all the calls and messages we have in our possession.

Many months ago, we booked a room via booking.com because we felt secure and safe of the really good reviews and comments. Although, we had a really bad experience and felt the need to protect future customers.
I’m starting with our story, at first we didn't notice that the check in is until 12, however in messages the manager explained us the policy and he agreed for a late check in 01:30 . However, our flight with Volotea n: N252YB was delayed and for twenty minutes our paid reservation for two days was cancelled. So we learned this while we arrived at the airport and opened our data, because apparently we had no signal during the flight to answer to his message, so at 01:45 in the morning when we arrived, we found ourselves in a foreign country, on the road, with nowhere to go we stay, in a city without night life, therefore in an empty city. We spent the night on the road as there were no rooms available. Booking.com disclaimed all responsibility and never got our money back. This is unacceptable because he exposed us in danger and psychological suffering. We were two women on the road in 02:00 in a foreign country!Above all, the safety of travelers, specifically women, is important and we stand firm in supporting this position! Ps. There are all conventions and calls in booking.com platform that confirm all of the info about. Even if the platform stands by the owners policy side, we stand by all of tourists side.

Apartamens are located very close to city centre and not far from couch & train station. Our host was VERY nice and helpful. Room was tidy. I'm not sure how is it with other
apartaments but our was without window and for some people it can be a problem. However if you are looking for not very expensive place to stay with breakfast included in the price for your city break it can be good choice! :)

Starting with my top impression of this place, I must say that it deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars. MarseilleCity - chambres et Appartements d'hôtes à Marseille is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay in Marseille.

The host is super nice, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. He went out of his way to bring breakfast to my room door every day, which was a lovely touch. What's more, we had inspirational conversations not only about Marseille but also about our personal joys.

The ambiance of the place is cozy and comfortable, and the service is top-notch. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location of the property is also excellent, with easy access to all the attractions of Marseille.

However, I have to deduct one star for the noise level. Despite the central location, the street outside can be quite loud, and it can be challenging to sleep through the noise.

To improve the experience, the owner could consider investing in soundproof windows to reduce the street noise. Additionally, providing earplugs to guests could be a thoughtful touch.

Overall, I would highly recommend MarseilleCity - chambres et Appartements d'hôtes à Marseille to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Marseille. The unique personal touch of the host and the comfortable accommodations make it a memorable experience. With just a few improvements, it could be a five-star experience.

Amazing experience at this apartment! Christophe was very accomodating and prepared the room for us to check in earlier as he knew that we took an overnight bus over. The breakfast was very sumptuous as well with good variety and large quantity. He even gifted us with a soap gift when we checked out.

Chambre idéalement située, proche du port (15-20 min à pied), du quartier du panier, des bars et restaurants. La literie est confortable et le calme règne. Le petit déjeuner est varié et bon (pain, fruits, laitages, viennoiseries). Christophe est soucieux que ses clients passent un agréable moment. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour, merci.

Unbeschreiblich netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Zentral gelegen unweit vom Alten Hafen (10-15 min zu Fuß).
Frühstück liebevoll mit hausgemachten Konfitüren. Wir sind sehr dankbar und haben uns wohl gefühlt.

L'emplacement super. À côté du quartier du panier et à 10 minutes à pied du vieux port.

Très très bonne surprise que cette chambre d'hôte entre la gare St Charles et le Vieux Port. Le propriétaire, jeune et dynamique, est extrêmement serviable et accueillant. La déco est soignée et moderne, il y a des petits chocolats et un savon de Marseille qui nous attendent, on peut se faire un thé ou un café, mettre un en-cas au frigo ou se le faire réchauffer au micro-ondes (je parle de la grande chambre côté cour 1). Pour couronner le tout, un petit déjeuner royal nous a été servi, avec le sourire malgré l'heure matinale à laquelle nous l'avions demandé : viennoiseries chaudes, jus de fruit, confitures maison, fruit frais, pain bien croustillant, yaourt...
Excellent rapport qualité prix !
