The dishes were fine -- salad de chevre chaud exceptional -- but the loud, thumping house music was totally out of place for a relatively sophisticated restaurant. I can't understand who would think that night club music is appropriate for a sit-down restaurant at dinner. Also, the staff lied to us about seating. When we arrived there were empty four tops on the terrasse where we preferred to sit (there was less thumping outdoors) but the server said all were reserved. After we had settled in the disco, the staff began breaking up four tops into deuces for male-female couples. I don't know why they discriminated against us -- two males -- but it left a bad taste in my mouth. We would not return.
Great service with English not being a problem in ordering. Food arrived surprisingly quickly together for all 10 of us, including the pizzas.
Everything was well prepared and portions were good. Entrecote steak was thin but it was perfectly charred outside and red inside. Prawns were beautifully grilled. A lot of things were available for dessert.
It was a warm evening so everyone was dining outside so there were some nice private tables for 2 inside in the dining room cut into the hillside.
