Très contente de l’accueil, toutes nos demandes ont été prises en compte . Le spa m'a beaucoup plus . Je reviendrai bien volontiers !

We were there during the Rugby World Cup so it was slim pickings and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you had a choice. Overall the hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment, it’s very retro, I don’t think it’s been touched since the 80s. In our room, the air conditioning did not work, when we did request for it to be fixed the repair men said it was an old building and he could have it fixed in 2or3 days (our stay was 3 night) so we didn’t bother. The spa facility are steep at 45euro per visit if it’s not included in your rate, the bedding and sheets weren’t big enough for the King sized bed and most frustrating of all the Wi-Fi didn’t work for our 3 night stay. Location wise it’s a 15min bus to the Centre and it only runs every 25mins or so. So all up, try and book somewhere else but if it’s the only place available at a reasonable price at least the staff are nice.

We stayed at Lyon Metropole from the 15th of July to the 31st of August, and I can confirm that it was our best stay in Lyon for the past 30 years. I wish that we had discovered that years ago.
Our apartment was homey and had all the functional amenities to accommodate our extended stay.
The hotel's Director, Madame Moreau, is always on the go, managing it all with devotion, efficiency, and attention to detail—the perfect characteristic of an exceptional Hoteliere.
Kudos to the team of Reception, Maintenance, Restaurant, and Housekeeping. Nothing is delayed. Always attentive and ready to go the extra mile.
Food in the restaurant is always consistent and of excellent quality. Peak summer months are not a time to judge their service, as staff are on summer break. Our overall experience has been satisfactory and always touches the palate.
We wouldn't have survived this summer if it was not for staying in Lyon Metropole! The hotel has plenty to offer, conveniently and wonderfully located. An oasis packed with fantastic staff, a fully equipped Spa and pools, and ample parking where one could conveniently head back to chill and relax.
The only setback is that upgrading the rooms and some areas of the hotel is a timely measure. If that is completed, Lyon Metropole could quickly deserve a 5-star rating. It is THE place to be. We would consider taking up the membership of the Spa & Wellness.
