Samo riječi hvale za ovaj hotel. Jedno nezaboravno iskustvo koje bih svakom preporučila. Spavati unutar Dioklecijanove palače je naopisiv i jedinstven doživljaj. Cijelo je iskustvo upotpunilo profesionalno, ljubazno i veoma uslužno osoblje. Doručak i večera za svaku pohvalu, velike porcije i preukusna hrana. Svakako se vraćamo kada nam se ukaže prilika.

Жили неделю. Расположение отличное, прямо в центре дворца. Для меня очень важно было бесплатная парковка. Однозначно рекомендую.

Great service and amazing location in the heart of the ancient palace. The front desk even reached out via telephone and allowed me to rebook a different night when I had a 24 delay from a missed international connection. We had an extremely easy arrival with returning the nova rental car and met by a very friendly and helpful porter that helped us with our bags across the short walk to the hotel and a brief overview of the historical sites. I highly recommend this very small (only seven rooms) boutique hotel.

Note from other reviews, this hotel is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walls are exposed historical bricks and there is no elevator. It would literally be a crime to renovate the hotel into an average SLH hotel. The rooms are appropriately sized (larger than the average in Manhattan) and nicely furnished (I prefer this to most other SLH’s I’ve visited). If you want a brand new hotel with large rooms, book elsewhere. If you want an experience and hotel room to remember, book the Vestibul Palace.

We stayed at the Annex location at Villa Dobric and could not have had a more pleasant experience! We arrived at the main hotel which is a part of the palace walls and were greeted with a warm welcome and offer of beverages. They provided wonderful recommendations for where to eat in the city. The kind staff walked us and carried our luggage to the Villa location which is a short 6 min walk from the main property and overlooks a beautiful town square!

Our stay was broken up into multiple part as we spent a night visiting Plitvice Lakes and the staff was most accommodating to our needs— they prepared us a large breakfast to take on our travels and stored our larger luggage while we were away. They staff communicated with me via WhatsApp and made sure someone was Available to greet us upon our return, even though it was late in the evening.

Breakfast at the main hotel was superb and the was a beautiful walk to start our day.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Split— the hospitality they showed us from quickly responding to emails during our trip planning all the way through our stay has been outstanding!

This is the best located hotel in Split- it is literally a 10 second walk to the Diocletian’s palace, but that’s it main pro. The rooms are very small, basic, and old fashioned. Definitely should not be a member of SLH as there really is nothing luxury about it! You are just paying for the location.

We stayed in the annex. The receptionist was quite clueless about Split, it felt like we didn't get the best service staying in the annex. It was quite pricy during peak season and we didn't feel like it was a good return on it as room and food were very average.

This was simply an amazing luxury boutique hotel. It is located in the heart of Diocletian's Palace and is centrally located to all the major attractions within the old town.

It can be difficult to locate (no thanks to Google Maps) if it is your first time in Split. The Diocletian's Palace precinct or the old part of Split is not accessible by vehicles so you will need to walk to the hotel. In hindsight we probably should have contacted the hotel before we arrived and had someone assist with our luggage. They did help us with our luggage when we left.

The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the ancient roman vestibule, a circular stone hall, and opposite the Ethnographic Museum. The internal lobby is light and airy with a glass roof - the area also doubles as the hotel's dining area. In there is an outdoor dining area on a cobbled courtyard at the hotel entrance.

Each of the eleven rooms are unique as they have had to fit them within the heritage listed Roman and Medieval walls of the buildings. I just loved the historic character of the hotel and how they had managed to fit it out with modern furnishings without compromising the building's heritage. We were lucky in that we had a standard double room on the lower floor so wasn't much of a staircase to climb but I would probably splurge next time and get the junior suite. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was well laid out. We even overlooked the vestibule and could listen to the singers performing there.

The staff were extremely helpful, providing us with great recommendations on where to eat, a pre-packed breakfast for when we were heading off on an early morning boat cruise, assisting us with dealing with a parking infringement we incurred earlier in our travels. The service the hotel provided was outstanding.

Great quaint place in the middle of the palace. Everything is probably a 3-5min walk or less to really get to. Great location to go around and learn about the history of the palace.

Stay away from the "Villa" rooms. The hotel may be nice with decent rooms, but their "villa" location is worse than a studio apartment. The location is fantastic (for both the hotel and the villa rooms), but in the Villa, the air conditioner barely works, the wifi is terrible, and the bathrooms are small and cheap. We felt like we were in a college dormitory. As to the service, when I mentioned our issues, I got a perfunctory 'sorry' but that's all. Very disappointed, and will look for another hotel next time.

Charming historical hotel right in the heart of the palace but somehow very quiet and relaxing. It is considered a historical monument. Breakfast is of a very good quality and choice. There is a small but pleasant restaurant menu and good choice of wine by the glass. Staff is very friendly and professional. People can make the difference in the experience. And I would like to give special thanks to Domagoj who embodies the definition of hospitality and perfect service.

Not able to comment on the hotel but their newly opened restaurant is worth every euro. Service was a big part of our experience. Away from the crowds.

Very comfortable and appointed room, commensurate with other 4 star hotels. There's breakfast on the first floor which doubles as a bar the balance of the day.

This facility is not suitable for anyone needing a wheelchair. Of course, sorry to say, the remnants of this Roman village doesn't accommodate wc's either.

The hotel is happy to facilitate transfers into and out of the hotels for anyone that's mobility impaired but retains some use of legs and feet for walking short distances. See May 15 '23 for photos
