Amazing service and hotel!!

Stayed at Heritage Hotel Porin In September. Beautiful room and the receptionist Dana was an absolute star. Dana gave us many helpful tips (locations, restaurants, site seeing) and even upgraded us. She really made the trip extra enjoyable. The location of the hotel is fantastic, overlooking the port and a short walk to the bars and restaurants of the inner city. Breakfast is conveniently located downstairs.

Velmi pěkný hotel, krásně zařízený, čistý. Milá obsluha. Přímo na hlavní promenádě.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön, die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Sehr sauber und gepflegt.

For a 4 star hotel that charged 200 euros a night for our stay, Hotel Porin was not worth the money. While the room itself was great (particularly the sea-view from our window), the service is was shockingly unprofessional. 90% of the time that we left the hotel, there was no one at the front desk - the workers were either smoking outside, at the bar across the street, or in some cases, simply gone! There was no bell to ring and no way to get a hold of anyone other than to wait at the entrance, which, again, for a four-stat hotel is unacceptable.

The worst part about the stay, however, was our breakfast at the hotel. Simply put, the options were limited (eggs can be ordered cooked but everything else was cold) and the staff unprofessional. We saw waiters smoking inside the restaurant when we went downstairs, and while I only have a video (that Google won’t let me upload along with this review) a couple of waiters stood around while tens of flies crowded around chocolate croissants that were out in the open (When I pointed this out, their reaction was a delayed “Oh,” rather than any sort of embarrassment or apology).

Some of the responses by the hotel in the other comments try to distance itself from the restaurant downstairs, but I am sorry to say that if the hotel includes a breakfast in their package, and the restaurant provides said breakfast, the hotel is absolutely responsible for the quality of the breakfast.

The location for the hotel is nice, and the beaches are close-by, but the food options around the area are overpriced and people are generally unhappy to be working - a sentiment that Hotel Porin and their staff seem to reflect.

Shame.

The place , the staff everything about this place is awesome. I visited the place 4 months ago and I had to visit again a couple of days ago. I am sure I will be there again. Love this place.Friendly , comfortable, clean just perfect.

⚠️Würde 0 Sterne geben… Man bekommt in Zimmer 7 kein Auge zu ,da es in der Nacht extrem laut auf der Straße ist . Leute feiern bis 3 Uhr nachts… ab 23 Uhr kann man auch niemanden an der Rezeption mehr erreichen. Am nächsten Tag haben wir die Rezeptionistin darauf angesprochen, die nur uninteressiert meinte dass sie nichts machen kann und sie weiß von dem Problem. Angeblich wurde dass auch beim Check in kommuniziert., was definitiv nicht stimmt da niemand dann in so einem Zimmer schlafen würde… Also aufgepasst welches Zimmer ihr bekommt. Nie mehr wieder

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Empfang aber leider findet man hier keinen Schlaf weil direkt vorm Fenster eine Liveband spielt, die anschließend von der fast so lauten Anlage abgelöst wird. Hatten eine echte Horrornacht ...

Jako ljubazno i pristupačno osoblje. Osjećali smo se dobrodošli i sve nam je lijepo objašnjeno. Soba je bila velika, čista i udobna, stvarno za 10. Sam pogled iz prozora je fantazija jer jedna strana pruža pogled na more a druga na planinu Biokovo. Oduševljeni smo našim noćenjem. Doručak pruža ponešto za svakoga i mogu reći da sam zadovoljan kvalitetom ponuđenoga. Lokacija hotela je u samom centru, sve je nadohvat ruke, a terasa pruža odličan pogled na rivu.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Makarska und sind begeistert von diesem schönen Ort. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Hafen mitten im Zentrum. Trotzdem sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung entspricht einem gehobenen Standard. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, wenn es darum geht die passenden Aktivitäten zu finden und zu buchen.

Noisy noisy noisy room. The hotel doesn't give you the information about a loud rock band that is playing from about 9 PM until after midnight. Right infront of the main entrance and front desk. Not good if you arrive tired after a long ride or a flight. Not good for the dishonesty.

Top accommodation and delightful stay
This Hotel is at top location in Makarska, on the city promenade with newly renovated modern rooms and comfortable bed. The beautiful modern interior of the very clean room with a touch of luxury is amazing. You will find lovely little mini set of Rituals cosmetics in the beautiful bathroom (details that make a big difference ????).
A short walk to restaurants and the beach from the hotel. Lively bar is right outside the hotel.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and always at your service.
We had a breakfast at the hotel's restaurant Cvit soli, at nice mediterranean terrace with great food and top service.
We would recommend a room with a sea view overlooking the harbor.
We highly recommend this hotel and hope we will be back soon!

L’hôtel est très charmant avec un personnel accueillant.
Par contre le restaurant et le petit déjeuner peuvent être améliorer au moins sur la fraîcheur et la qualité proposée

Albergo nuovissimo proprio in centro storico e a pochi metri dal mare.
Le camere sono nuovissime ed eleganti.
Il personale della reception è sempre molto disponibile.
Ovviamente il prezzo non è bassissimo, ma sicuramente giusto per il servizio che offre.

Sehr schön,liebevoll und nützlich eingerichtetes hotel, in zentrale lage.

Hotel molto elegante.
Situato in pieno centro città, l’hotel offre ai clienti in possesso di una vettura un pass parcheggio per evitare di dover pagare il posteggio pubblico che costa ben 4 € l’ora in questa località balneare.
All’esterno la struttura è uno dei palazzi storici più eleganti del lungomare di Makarska.
Camere bella, pulita ed ben insonorizzata.

Our Room was Perfect with every Detail down to the Gorgeous Views! But you’d Expect that at a Fine (4* or 5 *) Hotel~~ However, what made this Hotel Exceptional was Ivana! From the Moment we heard her Voice to the Min we Checked out She went Extraordinarily above and beyond with her Warmth, Care and Open Heartedness! She’s an Asset to this Hotel and her Being of Service is Commendable. What a Treat! Thank you Ivana and also many Mahalos to our Breakfast Staff also!
