Voici l'une des meilleures adresses de la région. C'est l'équipe du restaurant Dalmatino qui a ouvert ce restaurant en 2017. Originaire de Trstenik, le propriétaire a une nouvelle fois visé juste après nous avoir conquis durant des années à Dubrovnik. La recette est la même : un bel établissement, de bons produits, une cuisine locale (grillades de poissons et de viandes) revisitée. Sans oublier de féliciter le service de qualité, attentionné et plutôt rapide, l'accueil chaleureux et l'ambiance conviviale, juste ce qu'il faut. À ne pas manquer.

the cosmopolitan was cranberry juice… no taste of vodka at all. And the pic of the wines are before we started drinking… it seemed like a very short pour.
The food took a long time to come out which I’m ok with because the restaurant is small, probably limited staff.
The oysters. These oysters were big and meaty but not too flavorful and there was bitterness to them. I’m not sure if it was the oysters or the lemon we squeezed on them but bitter. And I eat a lot of oysters… but maybe it’s just not the kind I’m used to (I’m from New England so we get oysters from the Cape or Narragansett)
The mussels were really good, flavorful and buttery. No complaints with the mussels
The lobster pasta… the sauce was too sweet. Lobster was average
The fish stew had good flavor but eating it was a hassle because the fish had all the bones in it and it was difficult trying to eat around it.
But there are only 2 or 3 restaurants in that little town and I only tried one, so I don’t know if the others are any better.
The swordfish steak at D'ORO Bar & Grill was an absolute revelation. Cooked to perfection, the tender and succulent meat melted in my mouth with each bite.
And then there was the black risotto. Let me tell you, this dish alone is reason enough to visit D'ORO Bar & Grill. The rich, dark color of the risotto was visually stunning, and the taste was even more remarkable.
If you find yourself on the Peljesac Peninsula, a visit to D'ORO Bar & Grill is an absolute must.
