Really friendly staff. Lots of negative reviews on Google but this was not our experience at all. Accurate quote and helpful team at both collection and drop off.

The staff here told us that the insurance included in our credit card was not valid, and that we had to buy additional insurance. Our credit card absolutely includes rental car insurance, which I confirmed with my bank. Nope, Sixt refused it, adding EUR400 to our trip.
Then, Sixt customer service later told us that we could have declined the insurance. The whole experience felt like a scam on foreign tourists.
Location - in a nice hotel, and the car was just across the street. Check-out did not take long.

I'm a type of person who never writes bad review about a company. but this company deserve it at all time. They will add bogus fees and charges without you knowing. Especially if you're from out of country. Do not rent it from here.

The attendants gave me lots of good advice and checked over the car after I returned it to make sure I didn’t leave anything inside. Helped me make sure I didn’t forget anything. Crossed over the Montenegro and it went very smoothly with all the documentation they provided. Clean new car and a pleasure to drive

The female staff persistently recommended an paid upgrades to BMW even we said we didn't need it. After all, the car wasn't what the woman was telling us, but a good one with navigation. I wonder if the crazy woman tried to deceive.
The valet man was very unmotivated and impolite, who did not even tell me the confusing parking exit.

Not a bad car, but BE careful of the staffs.

We had a great service with Sixt. They were so helpful and changed our drop off location to hotel Rixos instead of Dubrovnik airport which we appreciated!

Very easy to rent from! Provided us with a new Mercedes SUV that was very comfortable and perfect for our drive around Croatia. Return at the Split airport after hours was simple and hassle free.

What you want from a car rental service: convenient, hassle-free, reliable but friendly service. The rental return is in the paid parking lot, and when you drive in, the attendant acknowledges that it's a rental return and takes care of things. No issue with checking for non-existent damages. I'd rent from them again.

Мы заранее забронировали машину, оплатили 90 euro. Когда пришли ее забирать наша карта не подошла для депозита. Мы попробовали 3 карты, сотрудник sixt сказал что одна из нихх подходит. Мы с комиссией перевели туда деньги и когда снова начали оплачивать депозит он сказал что карта не подходит. В итоге мы провели там час и сотрудник сказал что ни одна из наших карт не подходит и машину нам не дадут. Никаких вариантов не предложил. Мы потеряди предоплату. Некому не рекмендую эту фирму.

We got really nice car! It was new and clean, and very good car. Their office is usually busy so come earlier because you will probably wait in line, but thats okay. Guy working in their office in Rixos hotel was polite and friendly, helped us a lot. I dont know why so many bad reviews here, we had great experience and we recommend Sixt in Dubrovnik!

Waited in line for an hour before the staff shared that Sixt’s IT systems were down globally. There were no way to restart or any manual alternatives. Apparently this happened the day before as well. Had to wait for another hour before systems were working again and another 30mins before it reached my turn. Ended up severely impacting my plans for the day.

Car provided had several damages on body, driver door cannot even opened properly due to a damaged coming from side accident. I booked sixt insurance for body damages before I saw the vehicle but it was not necessary, I tried to request to change the contract to remove unless insurance and no properly solution proposed.

When I returned car in Split Airport, girl at reception told me that there was an scratch on driver wheel arch which was not notified on the car. In that moment, I thought it was a joke camera filming… car completely damaged on driver side and girl claiming a scratch which it was already on vehicle, thanks that I had pictures of all areas before driving.
I have written 3 emails to costumer services with not answer.

I extremely disapointed. I will not rent a car anymore with Sixt.

We booked a small car equivalent to a Fiat 500 to pick up in Dubrovnik and drop off in Zadar. The lady at the desk was very nice and friendly. Based on the travel distance, we decided on full insurance, but we feel the upsell on the full tank of full was not needed and ended up costing us more than returning the car full. Unfortunately, the car we were given (a fiat Panda) wasn't up to standard for what we were sold. On initial inspection, the car seemed fine, but when we needed to charge our phones about 40km into our journey, we realised the USB in the car was not working. Further to that, the radio did not work and we could not connect our phones to the car for music. Keeping in mind our journey was all-round journey was over 500km, this was a huge annoyance for us. The standard of the car was also a big issue for that kind of journey. Although we did choose the cheapest option, the full price we ended up paying was €300 for 4 days, including the upsell on the insurance and petrol. Overall, the staff were very nice and extremely good at upselling, but the car itself was not fit for purpose.

Places like this deserves a "0" star rating. They are thieves. They will not honor the terms of your reservation and will force you to buy extra insurance that is not needed. The guy at the counter even threated us saying “if you do not like it leave”. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Attention ARNAQUE. Nous avons réservé une voiture de location sur le site officiel de Sixt et réglé la somme par carte de débit. Arrivés au lieu de location, le vendeur nous dit que comme aucun de nous n’avons de carte de CRÉDIT (nous avons des cartes de débit, comme tous les français), nous ne pouvons pas louer de voiture sans adhérer à la formule premium, ajoutant 276,85€ à la somme initiale !!!! Aucune information concernant l’obligation de fournir une carte de crédit au préalable. Nous sommes donc dans une situation d’arnaque et nous allons faire une réclamation auprès de Sixt et des autorités compétentes.

No recomiendo para nada. Reservas por la App y es engañoso te terminan “obligando” a pagar el doble porque el seguro básico no cubre nada. Básicamente me siento estafado.
