Nous avions réservé cet endroit pour un repos rapide de 2 à 4 heures, mais malheureusement, l'odeur et le mobilier démodé nous ont empêchés de rester plus longtemps, et nous avons donc décidé de ne pas y passer la nuit.

Nous ne nous y sommes arrêtés que quelques heures pour nous reposer, sans avoir l'intention d'y passer la nuit. Cependant, dès que nous sommes entrés, l'atmosphère nous a semblé étrange, comme si nous étions entrés dans un centre d'hébergement gouvernemental. C'était déstabilisant et nous avons décidé de partir peu de temps après être entrés. Bien que nous ne soyons pas restés assez longtemps pour expérimenter beaucoup de choses, l'impression initiale était suffisante pour nous faire reconsidérer notre décision.

Le personnel est très sympathique et arrangeant. Excellent emplacement pour tous les endroits où l'on peut déguster des plats locaux. L'hôtel est calme la nuit même s'il est situé le long d'une avenue très fréquentée. Les espaces communs sont vraiment confortables et bien entretenus... le petit déjeuner était excellent - Jimmy fait de très bonnes crêpes ???? ????

Hébergement fortement recommandable pour sa qualité d'accueil matériel et humaine. Un emplacement géographique très bien situé. Tres propre et avec un petit déjeuner parfait.

Cinq départs, super endroit, super expérience. Bed and breakfast pour moins de 20 $, belle zone commune, que peut-on souhaiter de plus ? Les casiers pourraient être un peu plus grands mais mon sac à dos y est presque entré. Presque :D

Excellente surprise pour cette auberge : le bâtiment a du charme et les chambres sont nickels. Les espaces communs sont très cosy et le déjeuner inclus le matin est très varié. Personnel très amical, merci beaucoup pour ce court séjour !

Une auberge très mignonne, située dans un quartier agréable. Le personnel était très sympathique et le petit déjeuner gratuit était excellent (y compris des crêpes fraîchement préparées avec du vrai sirop d'érable !) Oui, le plancher de la chambre grince un peu et les lits sont fermes, mais pour le prix que j'ai payé pour une chambre de dortoir dans une grande ville, cela en valait la peine.

Superbe auberge la pièce d accueil et séjour salle à manger très très bien décorée, cosy, chaleureux déco on se croirait dans un loft privé à Montréal dans un bâtiment en briques rouges superbe.
Cuisine petit dej top,
Personnels tjrs prêt à aider ou renseigner, bel accueil.
Chambres dortoirs sont exactement ce qui est décrit.
Chambres perso à 2, vraiment jolie.
Sddouche propre.
Merci à toute votre équipe,
Un bonheur au coin de la rue et vélo en face.
Toit terrasse en travaux hélas trop tôt avec cette belle saison,
La prochaine fois pour sûre!

Très bonne ambiance excellente accueil. satisfaite de ma première nuit quand je suis arrivée à Montréal chez vous. Le seul point négatif est que ma chambre le ménage n'avait pas été fait même les draps du lit ce qui fait que jai due attendre un moment.. sinon c'était bien. Sauf les douches communes que j'ai trouve moyennement propre

C'était notre 2e visite (1 maman, 2 enfants de moins de 12 ans, en chambre privée) et ce n'est pas pour rien qu'on voulait y retourner! Service accueillant, lieux propres et bien entretenus, délicieux petit déjeuner (mention spéciale aux oeufs durs et aux pancakes!), bien situé... On espère renouveler l'expérience d'année en année! :)

Nice hostel facilities and breakfast.

HOWEVER
There is one employee who will make your life miserable. Here was my experience.

He came into the room at 00:45 and made a bunch of noise. In and out of his locker, not even trying to be quiet. Dragging stuff around, etc. Didn't matter to me, it's a hostel, plus I was watching TV very quietly. After his five or so minutes of banging around, he asked me to turn the volume down. I literally clicked the volume down then up, and asked if it was okay and he said yes. Ha! The street noise was more than my movie, for reference.

What he did next was even more upsetting. He proceeded to wake up an older gentleman, and ask him to turn off his nightlight... the extremely dim nightlight that i'm sure the hostel choose so that they could be left on and not bother people, yet safely go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The crazy part is I saw in his pile of stuf f both earplugs and a sleep mask. He was also bottom bunk, so could have made a sheet curtain like I had done with my comforter.

Why did he do these things? Solely as a power grab I believe. He also told me he liked to sleep in until 9, breakfast starts at 8 and is when my alarm went off. Right on!

He did change rooms, but continued to enter ours to retrieve items from his locker and the closet. Often neglecting to close the door on his way out.

He's a bully, I have spoken to others here who have had the same experience. The other staff are all wonderful, helpful people.

Hopefully he moves on, when he does the owners can contact me and I'll change my review.

Great breakfast with real maple syrup ????and pancakes! Great people, very clean, location is perfect. Comfortable beds. Beautiful old building.

Spent 3 Nights; first two nights in 207 then last night on 3rd floor. Met many people, some of which were very convivial! Nice ambiance. Was my first experience in a shared bedroom community and I’ld try it again. Gabriel, the French guy with the moustache, Nina the receptionist, and all the others I missed were nice people! Thanks again. Maybe we’ll meet again one day! ☺️

Got a studio with two other people. Shared bathrooms were kept clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was coming from NYC and couldn't find parking and a very friendly receptionist guided me to another area (Grand Bibliotheque Underground Parking). I only paid 18 USD for two days of parking. The garage was also heated.

The downstair area is cozy. You can hang out, eat, have a beer. It's a welcoming environment.

J'y suis allé à quatre reprises entre 2022 et 2024 et j'ai toujours eu du bon service. Le personnel est à l'écoute, chaleureux et généreux. Il y a également des excellents déjeuners complets. Bon séjour à quiconque qui aura envie de tenter l'expérience ! :)

Great place to stay. I spent 6 nights here and felt very welcome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the whole place was super clean.
I was a solo traveller and it was easy to connect with other people in the common area.
The location is perfect: You can walk everywhere. Very close to many bars and restaurants in the area of Plateau. You can also walk to downtown and old Montréal or take the metro which is a 5 min walk away.
I would definitely stay here again next time.
