Le lieu est charmant, atmosphère cosy, et comme son nom l'indique parsemé d'objets d'art de toutes sortes. Très bien situé près du centre, tout en restant dans un secteur très calme.|Mais son grand plus vient de la qualité de l'accueil et de la gentillesse des gérants qui apportent un supplément d'âme à l'endroit et ont fait que notre séjour était parfait. Merci.

Struttura molto elegante e raffinata per gli arredi e per le camere, davvero molto belle e spaziose.|Ottima posizione a due passi dal centro di Aix en Provence; colazione davvero molto buona, decisamente preferibile rispetto a quella delle varie brasserie che si trovano in centro.|Menzione d'onore a Emma e Silvio: gentilissimi, disponibilissimi a soddisfare qualunque tipo di richiesta, rappresentano il vero valore aggiunto di questa struttura, chapeau !!!!!

Un lieu d'exception, idéalement placé, où la simple nuit et son petit déjeuner vous dépayse. Tout est pensé avec tant de gout ! Bravo et merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil.

Excellent accueil très souriant, beaucoup d’aides et conseils (parking , restaurants….) très bon confort de la chambre et super petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité.

Un lieu magique, presque caché, où l'art de l'accueil se décline de façon efficace et discrète. On est séduit par le bon goût du lieu, à la fois élégant et provocateur. Mais ce ne serait que froideur matérielle si le sourire et le charme d'Emma ne venait faire vibrer cette jolie maison. Tout est fait pour que l'on s'y sente bien : un grand merci !

Excellent location in Aix, with delightful staff and an excellent breakfast. Our room overlooked the garden, had a very comfortable bed and very good bathroom.||I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a charming hotel with attentive and helpful staff.

Great location and easy to walk into town. The host are extremely helpful and friendly with recommendations and directions! Clean rooms and Delicious breakfast! Recommend 2nd floor rooms. 3rd and 4th floors have many stairs and hard to carry heavy luggage. Location is hard to find if you are diving.

Silvio ist Gastgeber und Kunstsammler..... schön.
das Hotel ist in einer ruhigen Nebenstrasse gelegen. Gut zu erreichen und nahe dem Zentrum.
Zimmer sind super, schön, sauber und haben wunderbare Kunst und man fühlt sich wie zuhause.
Wir können den Ort nur empfehlen und werden eim nächsten Aufenthalt in Aix, dort sicher wieder loggieren.

This is a very nice, comfortable, small hotel with, I think, six guest rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated, including with a lot of interesting art collected (hence the name) by the owner. It is very nicely located just off the rue d’Italie in the historic residential district just south of the Cours Mirabeau, which is the main street and best place for orienting yourself in Aix. Even the street-side rooms are quite quiet. The people who run the place are remarkable—warm, helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and efficient. It’s kind of like staying with friends of good friends, but with more fun people than usually found in that situation.

My wife and I stayed only one night at this wonderful specialty inn. It is a renovated old home in the middle of Aix, very close to most every tourist site in town. The home is beautiful and our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. The bathroom is new with outstanding shower. Breakfast which is ordered a la carte was very good. We had more of a continental breakfast but eggs, etc. are available. The property manager is Emma and she is wonderful and made our stay special. Her colleagues were all great as well. We parked in the nearby municipal garage as the property is in a restricted zone. The walk is 5 minutes so this might not be great if you have a lot of luggage or have limited mobility. I think you can arrange access to the location if that is the case. We hope to return for a more extended stay if we are lucky enough to do so.

Maison du Collectionneur was the perfect boutique hotel in Aix. Our gracious hosts did everything to make our stay extra special. The rooms were clean and generously sized. The location is ideal and walking distance to all major destinations in Aix. We highly recommend!

Our daughter in law from Avignon discovered this wonderful guest house. It is situated on a quiet street in the center of the city, convenient to all the fine shops and restaurants. Our hosts were kind and hospitable. Our room was so comfortable, decorated tastefully with lovely views onto a beautiful courtyard. We slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Your visit to Provence must include a stop here.

The best hotel of our stay in the south of France. Very friendly and helpful staff. All rooms original furnishings and decoration, but extremely comfortable and practical. |Breakfast was lovely and generous. |It’s right near to major sites and the staff gave good advice/information about what to do during a short stay. We will be back.

As everyone else says, this boutique art hotel, so unassuming from the outside, is very cute once you enter the red door. We had a spacious artfully decorated room with the Nespresso machine, fridge, good closet space, great wifi, etc. BUT note that there are no elevators - a big problem for my 83 yo mother - but not hotel’s fault. Also our room only had a bathtub, no shower - again, big issue for my mom and a bit difficult even for me too.

However, the location is killer, walking distance to the super cute Old Town. We picked up our picnic stuff - bread, wine, rotisserie chicken, olives - at the nearby stores and enjoyed our lunch on their cute terrace.

Most importantly, their staff is awesome. They have a washing machine…for FREE! Huge benefit after coming off a cruise. They even sent the clean clothes back to our room folded. Way above expectations.

Het warme welkom en thuisgevoel van zodra je binnen stapt. Een prachtig, statig pand die de passie van de eigenaren uitstraalt, zijn goed gekozen naam meer dan waardig. De kunst en keuze van de inrichting, de perfecte harmonie van oud, nieuw en vintage. Top !!!! Daarbovenop gegoten, de kennis van hun stad en de hulpvaardigheid, de perfecte ligging en de uitermate vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar en zijn team. Wij waren er 4 nachten en hadden 2 totaal verschillende kamers, anders, apart en toch een perfecte match. Geweldig. Een echte aanrader .... dankjewel, merci ...Kathleen & Anne

L’hôtel est decoré avec beaucoup de goût. Le staff a été très accueillant et efficace et a pu repondre à nos demandes avec efficacité (cf. la machine à café qui demandait à être détartrée, la valise qui a été montée au 3ème étage, car pas d’ascenseur). Le café et le thé etaient offerts est très bons. Le lit très confortable. Propreté excellente. Chambre donnant sur la rue très calme (pas de voitures et double vitrage). Plein de détails très raffinés (parfum d’ambiance Fragonard). Petit dejeuner servi en option très bon. Nous remmandons cette belle adresse de charme.

Très belle demeure bourgeoise bien située dans le centre historique. Un petit côté arty avec des œuvres partout. Les chambres sont grandes et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Petit déjeuner à la carte. Accueil adorable. Les chambres sur jardin sont très calmes, celles sur rue aussi car semi piétonne. Je recommande et nous reviendrons !

Incredible boutique gem in Aix! We stayed for 4 nights and were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. Silvio greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home. The terrace is beautiful, we picnicked out there for lunch and had coffee every morning. Emma & Silvio helped us prepare our nespresso each morning to our liking and went above and beyond to make the stay great. The room was superb and refreshed daily. The staff was also extremely attentive with helping us make taxi reservations to the train station. The room is spacious and the location of the hotel is perfect and walkable to everything Old Town has to offer! We hope to be back to this small slice of Provence Paradise!!

Un séjour inoubliable au cœur d'Aix ! L'accueil était chaleureux et la chambre tout simplement superbe. Le jardin magnifique est la cerise sur le gâteau, offrant un cadre idyllique pour un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle. Un dépaysement total et inattendu en plein centre-ville. Je recommande vivement !
