Pauline et Jules Autard désormais aux côtés de Jean-Paul, leur père, assurent la 5e génération de cette famille de viticulteurs dont le domaine, situé entre Courthézon et Châteauneuf-du-Pape, est reconnu et primé depuis plusieurs années pour ses blancs et ses rouges. Sur les 30 hectares de vignobles vendangés manuellement, une dizaine est en appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape, le reste se répartit en Côtes du Rhône et Vin de Pays de Méditerranée. Depuis le caveau de dégustation, on voit les barriques alignées sous les voûtes basses d'un superbe chai.

The experience exceeded all expectations. We arrived by bicycle during their regular hours and were warmly welcomed. Marc took the time to explain not just the technical details but the deeper philosophy behind their winemaking. He guided us through the unique challenges of producing Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône wines, offering interesting insights into their craft.
We had the privilege of tasting a variety of their wines, each reflecting exceptional richness and complexity. Whether you're drawn to full-bodied, structured reds or more nuanced selections, there's something here for a broad range of palates and price points. The wines truly stand out for their depth and balance, embodying the best of the region.
In addition to the superb wines, the customer service was excellent. Pauline was incredibly helpful in arranging orders after our visit, as we could only take a few bottles with us at the time. If you’re a fan of Rhône wines, Paul Autard is a must-visit. And if you can’t make it in person, I highly recommend getting your hands on some of their wines - you won’t be disappointed!
